Catchall Photo

Photograph it.
Catchall catalogues it.

Point your camera at a shelf of books, a wine list, a stack of receipts or a page of notes. Catchall reads what's in the photo, and every item becomes a record you can sort, search and look back on.

One photo, many records

Most apps keep a photo as a photo. Catchall reads it. A photo of a bookshelf becomes one record per book, each with its title, author and the other details worth keeping, all in a collection.

1. Photograph it

Use Catchall's camera, pick photos from your library, or import image files or a PDF.

2. Check the outlines

Catchall outlines each thing it finds. Add one it missed, remove one it shouldn't have picked, or keep the whole photo as a single record.

3. Keep the right details

Catchall suggests fields for the collection, such as title, price or date, and fills them in for every record. Rename, add or remove any of them first.

4. Review and save

Swipe through the records and correct anything before it's saved. The next photos you add to the collection use the same fields, with nothing to set up.

Everything you photograph, organised

Your collections work like a small database you never had to build.

Gallery, table, map, calendar

See a collection as a gallery or a table, on a map, or on a calendar. Which views you get depends on what's in it.

Search

Find a record by anything in it, or by when it was added, across every collection at once.

Share sheet & Inbox

Share photos to Catchall from Photos or any other app. They're read in the background, and the records wait in your Inbox to be looked over.

Control Center & Action button

Jump straight to the camera, your photo library or Files from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Action button.

Siri, Shortcuts & Spotlight

"Search my Receipts in Catchall." Open and search collections by voice, build Shortcuts around them, and find records from the Home Screen.

Visual Intelligence

Point Visual Intelligence at a bottle and see whether it's already in your wine list.

Looked-up links

Have Catchall find each item's page on IMDb, Goodreads, Discogs, BoardGameGeek, Wikipedia and more, and attach the link to the record.

Save for later

No signal? Save your photos, and Catchall reads them once you're connected again.

iCloud sync & export

Collections, records and photos sync through your own iCloud account. Export everything to a single file any time.

Your photos, read privately

Catchall reads photos with Apple Intelligence on Private Cloud Compute, Apple's secure servers built for exactly this. Browsing, searching and editing all happen on your device and work offline. There's no account to make. With sync on, your data is kept in your own iCloud. Read more about privacy.
